Why Helpz exists
I don’t have ADHD myself. But I’ve watched it up close my whole life — in my grandchildren, in close friends and family members, and in the broader community I’ve been part of for decades.
What I kept seeing was the same pattern, over and over. They knew what they needed to do. They just couldn’t start. Or they’d spiral into shame about not starting. Or they’d try an app, a planner, a system — and it would work for three days and then silently disappear from their lives.
I’m deeply involved in my local community — schools, support groups, families. I kept hearing the same thing from parents, teachers and adults with ADHD: there’s nothing that just talks to you. That gets it. That doesn’t judge.
Therapy helps. But it costs $150–300 a session and most people see their therapist twice a month. What about the other 29 days? What about 2am when the brain won’t stop? What about the moment of paralysis on a Tuesday afternoon when you have 12 things to do and can’t start any of them?
That’s the gap Helpz is designed to fill. Not a replacement for therapy. Not a medical tool. Just a coach — available 24/7, never frustrated with you, trained to understand the real dynamics of ADHD and help you get unstuck.
Helpz is a personal coaching and productivity tool. It is not therapy and it does not provide medical treatment. What it is: a judgment-free space where you can say what’s really going on and get practical help moving forward.
I built this because I care about the people in my life who deal with this every day. I hope it helps yours too.
